Liberal? Authoritarian? The only label I can consistently apply to Blagojevich is "nut." Honestly, I can't figure out what the guy wants, or why he wants to be governor. His behavior is so inconsistent and irrational. He loves to be pugnacious and brawl just for the sake of it - including a senseless public battle and falling-out with his father-in-law, Dick Mell. For no apparent reason he is now picking a fight with the Chicago chief of police, and is already on the outs with Daley. He likes to pose as a reformer but he and his wife and his administration and buddies are as deeply corrupt as any politician's ever been. The guy is just a disaster. Kass thinks he'll end up in prison and personally I wouldn't shed a tear.
Absolutely ridiculous- All these benevolent motives you attribute to this governor, but guess who else he's looking out for.....HIMSELF. That's right. He's made sure that Emil Jones doesn't allow a vote in the senate that would un-do a TWELVE PERCENT raise that the legislators have voted themselves... Shame on the people of this state for RE-electing him.
I'm thinking about getting a group together on meetups.com would the local traders be interested? I think it's very important for us(especially us at home) to connect with other traders and share our ideas especially in an industry that is constantly changing. Thanks guys, good luck trading
LOL - I'd completely forgotten I wrote that. Thanks for finding it! The best commentary I heard today on this whole thing was from a legal analyst who said "You don't need a lawyer to explain this to you, you need a psychiatrist."
So I've heard that most people who appeal their property tax bill get a reduction, and there are attorneys who specialize in property tax appeals. Has anyone here done this? Got a good Chicago area property tax lawyer to recommend?
