never ever ever use tweeter or the big box stores for car stereo installation. tweeter installed a disc changer in my SL500 back in 1997--- they could not get it to work and shorted out the radio. took it to a local high end installation place, they had it fixed and working within 15 minutes--- as the last installer told me--"we are brain surgeons compared to tweeter installers". paying the little extra is well worth it. good luck, surfer
so glad i'm not in IL anymore.. Gann, PM me your email well, I do miss Ceres .. gettin shitfaced drunk for $25 NYC i can get shitfaced for about $110 at a cheap place -c
Audio Consultants on Randolph is worth a shot. High volume audiophile shop with better parking than ProMusica on Clark.
I like Audio Consultants very much. There is one in Evanston too, and the parking is even easier than the one downtown. nitro
The two suburban Audio Consultants stores don't do car stereos at all (I just called them), and I avoid the city (and any other crowded place) as much as possible. Going to pursue ABT for now, let me know if any other good ideas come to mind...
