Hey Chicago, Anything in particular that you would recommend checking out while in chicago. Looking for something to do, during the day on Saturday 7/16. Thanks Joe
The outdoor film festival is going on and could be fun: http://www.chicagotribune.com/enter...08,1,3063980.story?coll=chi-homepagenews2-utl If you have never been to a tall building, check out the view from the Hancock, which I prefer than the view from the Sears: http://www.chicagotraveler.com/attractions/the-hancock-observatory.html Cubs come back into town on Thursday: http://www.stubhub.com/?img=19&ticket_finder=1015&genre_id=5644&sub=cubs If you are into architecture and don't mind traveling by boat, this is neat: http://www.seadogcruises.com/ChicagoRiver&LakeArchitect.html IMO, best is to rent a bicycle and then you are within twenty minutes of many things you could go and visit, and there is even a "city pass" that will take you to some of these places: http://www.affiliate.viator.com/bro...ID=1010&PRODUCTID=1014&CODE=2640CHI&AUID=2819 nitro
Thanks Banjo and Nitro, Have you guys ever been to the restaurants Webber Grill or RedFish? Any other recommendations?

I had to run out to O.P. in order to not risk the ire of the significant other again. And, I'm avoiding ceres, too many screwballs, posers and has-beens/wannabes in that screwed up joint. Why don't we try Rivers? The patio is nicer, the people more sophisticated. I'll be at the Expo.
Redfish is nice.. The Catfish Po'Boy is tasty. Try Gibson's steakhouse.. or Roddity's (in Greektown) if u want to dance with a bunch of reggae doobie smokers.. The Wild Hare Preppy Drinkers: Cubby Bear Loser Drinkers: Ceres Mafia hit-spot dining: Boni-Vino Vegetarian: The Chicago Diner Good burgers: Boston Blackie's have fun. -c
