Does anyone know of a good resource for info on chicago based prop firms? Or would anyone in here care to share their thoughts about the best/worst/newest/oldest/etc. in chicago? I am not currently in the trading profession but am very interested in finding a 'trainee' position at a prop firm trading anything. I'm not sure how this might affect anyone's thoughts re. chicago & the above, but FWIW. Thanks in advance for any thoughts.
Not meany left in chicago or around anywhere. Spike, Holdsbrothers, and maby one more. But if ur trading already why a prop shop? And the word prop shop no longer means "they provide capital". Many firms have a min. capital requirement. I would read about WorldCo before putting up money in a shop.
Hmmmm.... Well.... you can go apply for Wolverine, Geneva, and etc... I'm not sure if there training. Most firms from what I know aren't training. I've heard GHCO trains traders. I'm not sure.
