Chicago-area Tesla charging stations lined with dead cars in freezing cold: 'A bunch of dead robots

  1. The point of the post(which you ignored,as you do,which is the reason i decided to no longer engage with you)is that 50 years ago the media spooked everyone that the ocean would freeze and the sky would fall on our heads.

Once the climate change one is done,I guarantee the next one will be the slowing of the earths rotation.

The global cooling movement was a fringe movement back then.

today, the consensus is that the earth is warming. It’s debatable if humans are the cause (though I think we likely are playing a role).

  3. I'm a 'cycles' guy and I try not to wade into arguments where neither party has any idea and trends it towards a political debate.

The upside for flora and fauna on this planet and therefore the future of humanity is that we are aware of our impact on the earth and have identified ways to mitigate the impact.

Its not a conspiracy theory though that lesser countries are supporting the regulations, not keeping up their end,and using it as an opportunity to 'catch up'.

    It's all political.

The haves vs the have nots.
The old industries vs the new industries.
Comfort today vs responsibility for tomorrow

  6. I received a PM which advised me that you are,in fact,a woman.

Whilst this does fill in some of the blanks I couldn't reconcile with some of your postings,I do have to question what you get out of it.

I mean, its 2024.How far can a gender thing get you?

I read it differently. Batteries die in very low temps and since he was traveling the car was likely there for days. I doubt he was parked at a charging station so to move the car the tow truck was needed.
With an ICE car you'd just buy a new battery, change it and you're good to go. Maybe he could've used a diesel generator to charge as an alternative?

Do you believe everything you read ... except what is written about Tesla?

Though I'm betting you are just MSU, to attempt to score some points. Failed.

  9. "Climate change" means pseudoscientific gibberish.

Real science makes testable predictions, that are backed by observed facts.

"Climate change" means "I know anthropogenic global warming is bullshit, but I want all the things we said you really really had to do because of it, so I simply going to move the goalposts and make the same demands over again."

Ever notice how the "climate change" crowd hates nuclear power? The one practical thing that could allows us to maintain our standard of living and avoid totalitarian 1 world government while avoiding the problem they claim to care about just seems to always be excluded from consideration.

Next time you corner a climate change believer ask them under what possible set of testable conditions they would actually consider their theory disproven.

Temps rising, year after year - decade after decade, are not observable facts?

As to your use of quotes ... that no one ever said - is that also a "fact"?

And no I never noticed that all of the climate change crowd hates nuclear.

Change is happening, whether we humans are responsible, mostly responsible, partially responsible - most would agree to that.

And if we are mostly or at least a good amount responsible, the least responsible thing for us to do, is to do something about it. The trees, animals, fish, plants sure aren't going to.

Or we can just going exploiting the planet for what we can get out it and not giving back a little.

PS my idea of giving back is not driving an EV (puleaze) or shutting down Nukes.
