On that specific post I will call out BS, there is a high quality level and low price level where you would buy GM over another brand. I don't think you would cut off your nose to spite your face so to speak. But I could be wrong about you individually, you may be hard headed enough to harm yourself to prove a point. Edit : Lucrum I didn't know you'd said you'd never buy GM. I'm Surprised you think that way.
I have no plans to reward their behavior with my patronage. And if sticking to one's principles and convictions is "hard headed" then yes I am. Are there circumstances where I would buy a GM product? Maybe, but I can't think of any at the moment. Ford has been and usually is competitive with GM. As long as they're in business I won't buy a GM. Now, in the interest of full disclosure and in keeping with my brutal honesty. I own a 1999 Jeep Wrangler, my second Wrangler and third Jeep. All Chrysler products and of course they took a bailout years ago which I was equally outraged over. But I wanted a Jeep and in my mind there really was no suitable substitute. The problem for GM as far as getting my business is to my knowledge they don't produce any type of vehicle I'd want that I couldn't get a suitable equivalent from somewhere else. And now that I'm older I'm more "hard headed" than when I was younger.
That makes a lot more sense and is a rational view. Thankfully I'm a lot less hardheaded as I get older. I used to run a job like a drill Sargent. Now I'm a lot more laid back, work less and make more and the job quality is better of course that may be all do to years and years of experience and have nothing to do with being less hard headed.
Yes, and if I could shit money, I'd never have to work again. Unfortunately, neither hypothetical is going to be an issue. Right, and with GM, this occurs in some alternate universe. This is a valiant attempt to tie out the bailing out of a failed business model in our country with billions of tax payer dollars to the moral argument of child labor, booze and cigarettes, or the International Monetary Fund's role in the world, loans that have to be repaid, but really? Why not jump me about not being a member of PETA simply because I cried at the end of Old Yeller when Travis got his gun? The leap is about that far. Dimwit.
Liberal MO. They know what is better for you than you do. Where have you been? The Dipshit is actually trying to tell us how we should feel and what we should do. He doesn't get that we're not telling him anything he should do. He could go out and buy 100 GM cars tomorrow and skip like a pansy all the way home - we couldn't give a shit. But the moment we discuss what we will or won't do, he's all over it like a typical leftie. Frankly, I'm surprised we haven't been labeled racist yet.
Jughead so you don have any moral problems with any other business or product strong enough to boycot but GM. What a tool.
I'm sorry, i know you're attempting to write in the English language, but I need further clarification. Are you saying I should boycott cigarettes? Because I don't smoke, so I guess I do. Is that the same as not wanting to buy a car from GM because they were not allowed to fail and instead were bailed out to protect the unions at taxpayer expense? That is the same thing in your odd little universe?
I need you to translate it from Primate to English (the Queen's or otherwise) first, please. I already asked you to do so. What the fuck are you exactly asking me? Are you curious to which other products I boycott because of political or moral issues?
