Or maybe they just have principles that preclude them from supporting government bailouts and union thugs with their patronage. Or would that be stupid as well?
250,000 gas powered cars don't catch fire because of poor design. And as for "propanganda" [sic] that the government spits out (we agree on that one), you can't use one government statistic to back up your argument and then call government propaganda hugely inaccurate. As for "why the hatred", I already explained why. I won't buy a car from a company that took a bailout. That's the true motive behind my decisions.
Hello! Is this thing on? *taps mic* Reading comprehension isn't your strong suit, is it? I said I won't buy from a car company that received a bailout from the taxpayers and wasn't allowed to fail and reorg under the free market. That is not a political affiliation decision, brain-child. You'll find democrats, republicans and independents falling into that category. Lastly, if YOU think something is stupid on this forum, it's generally a smart bet to take the other side for the rest of us. You're an excellent barometer in that regard.
If GM has the best car for a persons needs at the best price it would be stupid not to buy it over a lesser car at a higher price. YOU may be stupid enough not to spend your money wisely but most will. Even the ones who say they never would, there is a high quality level and low price level where these faux principles fail. We bailed out Mexico years ago so I'm sure with your high morals you don't buy ANYTHING with parts coming from Mexico. Not to mention all the products made with child labor in third world countries, I'm sure your trading only includes companies with high moral standards, no tobacco, alcohol etc. And you only eat grass fed beef because your morals won't allow you to eat food with government supported corn. I'm sure there are thousands of products you won't and can't use and thousands of business's you can't use because of your elite moral standards. Meathead.
I thought you were talking about knowing my personal principles, I may have read your post wrong. And no I wasn't talking about knowing any indivaduals principe. But this group moral outrage over GM is bogus.
My motivation is based on the simple principle that I don't care to support beneficiaries of government bail outs or their union thugs. You called my motivation BS implying you do know my principles better than I do.
