Seems like he s trying to explain away his actions of years ago.Why?He s not in politics anymore.Whats he worried about?The more he talks the deeper the hole he will have to explain himself out of.One of my fave expressions is " a republican will sell you the rope that hangs him".Cheney is a perfect example of this. Hasnt a lawyer told him that he is doing no favors to himself?I suspect his ego is too big to handle the real world and advice.
