Checking bandwidth usage

    how do i check bandwidth usage in windows xp? do i need to download anything?

    Not aware of anything built in to windows. I use Bit Meter II. Its a free product and does a lot more than I probably realize. It also has a function that will track how close you are to going over your ISP's budgeted band width for you.
