The town Obama was supposed to have been born in wasn't part of Kenya in 1961 from what I've read. So Obama saying he was born in Kenya is a little problematic. And Hillary Clinton would have given her left nut (or Bill's) to prove Obama wasn't born in Hawaii but even her machine couldn't find anything to prove otherwise It really doesn't matter anyway. Unless someone can force Obama to produce a signed birth certificate we will never know. The only hope is that such proof will be a state requirement to get on some ballots in 2012. I really hope some day we find out he was born in Kenya but the odds of that happening are pretty long.
Kenya was still kenya in 1961 and mombasa was still part of it. Its just the british owned it and called it Kenya proctorate or something like that until 1963 when Kenya declared independance. Its a little like saying President Andrew Jackson wasnt born in the USA because he was born in 1767, 9 years before we became independant.
