Avatar Trading is a NYc prop firm. The pics are of their W24th St loft/office. Avatar, like quite a few other "props" troll the various CL city sites looking to pick up remote traders. A good deal of most prop's business is done thru the remote trader so that is why they post there. All they are really doing is copying the ad they post in NYc section. Go to Atlanta, Vegas, Phili, Boston, etc. and you will see similar ads. Or better yet, Google their web addy + craigslist.org to see where they are trolling. (Florence????) As to reputation, they seem to be on the up and up. Many guys who trade thru them claim there are no problems. I have met the 2 principles and they came across as straightforward - just trying to make a profit on desk fees and commish. Haven't heard any problems of payouts. And they use Hammer/Anvil and Lightspeed for choice of platforms.
