Is there an inexpensive reliable software for simple technichal analysis of end-of-day/ historical quotes. One that either has a free data feed or a simple import/save feature?
Free data from yahoo downloaded with www.hquotes.com, $55 one off cost. www.neoticker.com end of day, to chart the metastock compatible database created with hquotes, $40 one off cost.
you can get http://amibroker.com/download.html running on Yahoo data. or have a closer look at free solutions at: http://gliptak.150m.com/open_finance_projects.html
Highly recommend TC2000. Very inexpensive and worth its weight in gold. I have used it for 4 years and just bought a two year subscription.
with an IB account and Medved's quote Tracker, you get free data with a free trading program hard to get cheaper than that
www.databull.com 99 euros one off fee, better than hquotes as has database of symbols for 50 countries in program so need to enter by hand. Uses free data from yahoo and other sources. www.quotelf.com looks a bit like hquotes.
