I think a lot of times it may even be psychological because even with the tests that they do with the real medicine and the sugar pill both the people say they are feeling better. So some of the times it might all be in peoples heads.
Right. If it works that is great. However, unless results can be verified scientifically through controlled testing, I am skeptical of any claims about any type of medicine.
blood oxygenation is better done with a hyperbaric chamber. Professional sports teams are said to have them. The thing is to alkilinize so the cells can better use the oxygen. Cancer patients tend to read abut 60% blood oxygenation when normal is near 100%, that does not establish cause and effect but the known healthy diets are also the alkalinizing diets. I have found that in trading a zillion backtests and statistics is krap and some common sense things work fine. I feel sure that the same goes for health and even cancer cures. I also feel sure that big pharma and the AMA spin the asolute heck out of their cancer cure statistics, some say it is barely this side of random just like most trading schemes obtained the same way.
Fight the Future, I feel for you and your health problems. It is very true that the enivronment that we live and work in can be harmful with problems ranging from stress to toxic chemicals to solar radiation. I don't totally disregard alternative medicine so I would support you in continuing on whichever path you feel is working but please do not turn your back on modern treatments. I would suggest seeing as many specialists as possible since proper diagnosis is the key. I would also urge you to study the human immune system - it is an amazingly powerful healer. It is second in complexity only the neurological system but it is well understood and you should strive to lead a lifestyle that maximizes its ability. Good Luck! hels02, Most cancer drugs that enter clinical trials pass phase I, which examines safety, and then fail in either phase II or II which examine efficacy so it is very difficult to predict. Imagine pouring your heart and soul into a project for 10 years and having it fail on the last hurdle - happens 9.5 times out of 10.
An over the counter supplement that looks very good for cancer prevention and treatment is Inositol Hexaphosphate (IP6). http://tinyurl.com/48x2u link to pubmed site with search for IP6 & cancer. Bill Sardi's website also has information on this http://www.knowledgeofhealth.com/ I couldn't find the page but if your interested it's in there somewhere.
How many of you have seen a naturopath, holistic healer, etc.? Do any of you realize how much hard work is involved? I've been sick for 12 years, 3 months, and 10 days. I've got experience and knowledge. I know what works for me and what doesn't. I've done a lot of self help. I've found some things that have helped me on my own. Most things I've tried on my own did not have a positive effect. A lot of the things that my naturopath have given me were not effective. It can take trial and error and fine tuning as no two people are alike genetically nor have they been exposed to the same environment nor have they eaten the same kind of bad diet. Don't think that the naturopath that I'm seeing does not use lab work from the local hospital. No, it's not the placebo effect. Improvements were made from non-drug therapy. THE LAB RESULTS PROVE IT. LAB RESULTS. I SAID LAB RESULTS. LAB RESULTS FROM THE LOCAL HOSPITAL'S LAB. While lying in the local hospital emergency room years ago, the MD said he couldn't find nuthin'. Nor could a dozen other MDs. Osteopaths that I saw knew what was wrong but did not have effective treatment. The naturopath found the biggest problem I have involves the adrenals, thyroid etc., damaged by the mercury and chemicals that I tested positive for. Mercury is an endocrine disruptor that interferes with the cells ability to use hormones. The diet is based upon your individual genetics. The diet alone, except for celery, at least for me hasn't seemed to have done a whole lot for my condition, but I have seen the positive results in lab work. The other treatments have helped a lot. It takes a lot of work and self-discipline. People today don't want to be bothered by such nonsense. It's so much easier to take a pill. Healing can be a long, difficult process. It requires the help of someone knowledgeable and experienced. The naturopath that I'm seeing has developed a huge reputation across the US. It's not alternative medicine in the sense that you simply take a pill and then you are all better forever. It can involve a complex healing method and process and it involves a drastic change in lifestyle. The naturopath that I'm seeing has had at least one medical doctor curious enough about the diet that he decided to become a patient of hers. That medical doctor was her own doctor that she went to see when she had cancer. This naturopath was given a few months to live by this MD. She reluctantly went on the diet as a last resort. The MD was speechless and angered by her recovery. He said that she was supposed to die dammit. I have talked to several of her patients that are doing very well. They were told by their MDs that they had terminal cancer and were given a few months to live because the cancer was progressing and the conventional treatments had failed. I have a neighbor that had terminal cancer. He went on the diet and made significant progress, but a long time later failed to maintain the diet and got worse. So that was his motivation to stick to the diet, as improvements returned. Then he totally gave up on the diet. The cancer returned. The end. The diet is not a one time cure. It's for the rest of your life. Most of her patients cannot stay 100% on the diet. I might be the only one that has. I don't know how much the diet has helped, but I have seen the improvements in the lab results. Her other methods of treatment have helped a lot. When a positive result happens twice, it is a coincidence. When a positive result happens hundreds of times in a row, there appears to be a pattern. I don't think alternative medicine is for people that are extremely physically, emotionally, intellectually lazy. It requires that the patient do nearly all of the work.
You mentioned that you have been sick for so long but didn't mention what is wrong. Do you mind telling me what is actually wrong? I know you said because of chemicals and metals but how exactly did this happen, your diet?
N Acetyl Cysteine is an effective chelation agent. I would suggest everyone take at least a gram a day.
