Thanks Andre,for the link. I'm still having lots of problems staying logged onto chat. What happens is I log on,and will see maybe 1 or 2 messages and send 1 or 2 mess,all within a period of say 30-60 seconds. And then I wont see any action for about 60 sec. and then I prepare another message,hit send and my IE window shuts down,just disapears?? Very early this morning,I was the only one around so I logged on to futures chat. It was just me there and I was sending messages to myself,and it was working great for about 45 min. so I thought I was fixed and I just logged off. I was/am running TWS I started with java 1.4.1_02 when that didnt workout I down loaded the newest version 1.4.1_03. same results. When I get shut down from chat, it leaves behind an error message on my desk top, in the form of note pad. I'll send it in the next post, in case some one knows how to help me with this. For starters, try installing the newest version of Java, 1.4.2. You can find it here: http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/index.html I have another trick to try if that doesn't work.
