Guys and ladies, don't spend time on stupid troll, he doesn't understand that non-formal communication of kind of virtual traders lounge while often seems like completely not trading related talk, often can be a brilliant discussion with invaluable trading insights too. Only losers need pure calls to follow them, real traders discuss general ideas which lead to great improvement in market understanding and trading technique quality... And that's exactly what ET chat was about... But no problem, really, as cvds said, people just found their own communities, it's not hard to do these days... These people lose nothing, it's ET loses loyal users...
ok, is there an XMPP supportive group chat available that anyone has used in the past? I dont recall if Pigeon supports this or not... my search merely yielded this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WU-y8kAsr8Q
Hi Baron, I couldn't agree with TheStudent more. As a long time chat regular, I hope you find a way to keep the chat going. I know we are relatively few but like stu says, chatters add to the board traffic and loyalty to ET- chatters always have an ET window open and rarely a day goes by where discussion doesn't touch on and link to board threads. Also, on days of major news or market volatility the chat is packed and serves a valuable real time function not available from the bulletin board format. Please reconsider.
cv's been there since I joined in July. My husband has offered to set up a chat server for us. (Win, I made over $3000 paper trading FAZ today )
All 20 point profit targets filled 829's to 827.50.....nice move today off the highs! SHORTology has been executed again today......and no ET chat to enjoy all the price action. Oh well......Good Fortunes All!!!
