[10:55] <Brandon> basically successful trading is about doing the same thing over and over and over again [10:55] <Brandon> until you are so bored of it you could cry [10:55] <Brandon> then doing it some more [10:55] <Brandon> what I like to focus on for the most part are gaps [10:55] <Brandon> Gaps have a tendancy to fill in [10:55] <Brandon> but those gaps that do not, by going against that trend, are showing a lot of strength [10:56] <Brandon> they are proving themselves to to be the strongest stocks of the day [10:56] <Brandon> the best names [10:56] <Brandon> and the ones that are likely to produce the best results [10:56] <Brandon> you can see here with TKLC that it gapped up on the open and then was very strong [10:56] <Brandon> since then it has pulled back [10:56] <Brandon> and has now based for some time [10:56] <Brandon> this basing is a "resting" period [10:56] <Brandon> which gives a stock a chance to cool down [10:57] <Brandon> after a stock has ended a rest cycle [10:57] <Brandon> that is when it is most often likely to experiance a run again [10:57] <Brandon> so this is basically what I spend the day looking for
[11:21] <Brandon> keep an eye on QLGC under 43.93 11:21] <Brandon> stops above 44.05 [11:21] <Brandon> very nice 5 minute bear flag [11:22] <Brandon> one of the weakest stocks in the market
[12:22] <brandon> QLGC traders should be taking 2/3 off. Stops to b/e on the balance. Look to hold into the close. Trading 43.52
being a sponsor shoulnt give one the right to use elitetrader as a filesharing tool for charts. posting those pictures is of absolutely no use for anyone, as long as he/she is not in your chatroom. there are lots of other ressources you can use for posting annotated charts (btw - why not your own website?). any other non-sponsor-elite-member would have been told to stop this thread. just my 2cts... kev
