  1. the price action in oil... is very measured.. with consistent progression. This type of action keeps the trend healthy instead of going parabolic...

a war eventually needs to start to cure the Oil price action, drawing in more emotion into the market to create limit up moves.

all this doesn't bode well for equities,..

  2. Thanks Spectre for the tip. That is a big help. I really like the beauty and simplicity of your approach.
Your instinct is something that I would like to aspire too but your "critical interpretations" is something I am lack.

  4. limit up moves create pain on those who are counterparty to the longs in the market, that pain prevents 90% of the people from engaging in another position of that bias, so more and more people will shift to the long side, when only buyers persist and counterparties become scarce only willing to accept higher and higher entries for shorts, this eventually creates, a one sided market in terms of emotion, this one sided market eventually leads to even the novices getting long, the fundamentals and supply glut will catch up, and institutions will pick a day create limit down moves in price thus creating wider and wider range volatility. This usually signifies significant market tops....

thats why limit up moves such during the start of a new War, may ultimately be the cure for the price.

  6. employment was weak, yet there was dissention in the FED.

means FED is willing to let unemployment rise to mitigate inflation..

good for bonds, bad for equities.
