Narratives--should they exist--regarding charts I post, like the preceding ones related to CVX and XOM are found at Pair Trading Strategy Journal http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=3764172#post3764172 and/or Spread Trading Strategies http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=3764175#post3764175

A very important reply I made on another thread to a poster who considered my CVX / XOM trade (above, on silver charts) is probably not going my way and speculates I may, going forward, be wanting to "average" in, meaning double up or something like that. I don't like those discussions on this thread where I like to keep verbiage to a minimum here. Anyone wishing to post relating to my charts is best doing so like that poster did at either one of the following threads referencing the trade advisory stock symbols such as CVX / XOM). My reply to the poster who thought I might be in trouble with CVX/XOM: Spread Trading Strategies: http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=3765352#post3765352 OR (identical) Pair Trading Strategy Journal http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=3765506#post3765506

This post is to explain more thoroughly the narrative at bottom of Chart 7 stating one could exit both levels for a "net break-even" result. Simply go to either link below for explanation as to why one may wish to close out both levels of trade in CVX / XOM. The links are identical explanation.
