Charting data from Primary Exchange

Discussion in 'Data Sets and Feeds' started by Philo Vance, Jun 30, 2005.

  1. Does anyone know of a way - either a data feed or a charting package, or a combination of both - to use only data points from a stock's Primary Exchange when charting, and not composite data?

I'm using myTrack now and it can't be done there. I was sure that QCharts would be able to do it, but I emailed them and they said no.

    Any guidance would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Phil

Pretty sure Reuters has this data, but you will want to check to make sure. I think you just have to add an exchange suffix i.e. IBM.N to receive NYSE data only. I suppose it also depends on if you are looking for real-time or end of day data.

    Philo Vance,

Sure, on eSignal "IBM" is the composite, "IBM=N" gives only the NYSE price.
