Chart service

  1. I need a chart service that's simple, fast and cheap? Simple since I dont need many indicators, I like looking at the chart with a very basic set up. Fast since Im scalping I need the charts to be up to date, no delay. The cheaper the better.

    any ideas?

  2. You get what you pay for. I would stay away from esignal ( and all there products- esignal premiere, qcharts, futuresource). The data was miserable. I'm currently using tradestation and other then the occasional delay in the QM I'm very happy with it. CGQ was nice but really pricey. Realtick was ok but nothing spectacular for the price. Here's my order:

    1) Tradestation
    2) RealTick
    3) CQG
    4) Esignal.

There is always the option of getting a program like Ensign (I think its $30 or$40/month) and getting a data source ( cost depends on what you need).

would you make the same order if we are talking about just nyse and nasdaq stock feeds?

also what would that order be the same if price were not an issue.

i keep reading that cqg data is better than real tick and esignal.

any info would be of help

    thx

also does anyone know in terms of pricing, if cqg is more or less expensive than RealTick?

any specifics would be helpful as I don't see pricing info on cqg site

    thx

ok but for quality of data, price aside, how does quotetracker compare?

    i trade stocks primarily.

also a quick $tick reading is useful to me
