On Fri last week and last night the Q's were printing considerably higher at the close than later indicated on the daily chart. A comparison to the NDX shows this. What is the reason for this paint job? I was watching the prints at the close yesterday, and they were printing around 39.47 with a daily chart close of 39.08. On Fri they were trading around 39.37 at the close with the daily chart later showing 39.05. My post market intraday charts showed no prints at these lower levels during the close. Any thoughts? My charting is with Tradestation. Yahoo finance showed the same closes.
Thats odd. I'd expect that on a very high volume high volatility day maybe........but not at this point. that should be further investigated.
