I'm from Charlotte as well, pretty new to this thread. I day trade stocks, trade options and long term invest in value companies. Why don't we quit the small talk and get a decent sized meeting of futures traders, day traders and all sorts of knowledge databases. I'm sure we could all learn from each other and have a great time. Anyone game? Hi Caltrades, We already have 2 meetup groups organized in Charlotte. 1 meeting for options which happens 1 thrusday every month. 2nd meeting for IBD meetup happens 3rd Wednesday... Regards,
The options group leader just left didn't he? I was going to some of the meetings, but my day job has been killing me lately. Funny how this thread started about a year ago... the Panthers were doing much better then... Anyway, my trading focus now is swing trading and anything I can learn about automated trading. Cheeers... hope you guys had a better year than me
No kidding. The Panthers are so disappointing this year. They did worse than what we did in the stock amrket. Expect to see some front office changes in the off season. I wish everyone have a happy holiday!
