    This is one of the realest posts anywhere on ET or the interwebs. Crabs in a bucket works both ways.

    Your point about the constitution and the laws is absolutely correct. The government got us into this mess in the first place and we obviously are not able to break down these divisions without the law. So when politicians talk about things like income disparity or even disparity in vaccine availability it is right. The problem is the denial.

    And here is my thing, all of this division causes tension and poverty for no good reason. It’s just a bunch of people who don’t understand this stuff will never correct unless we correct it with laws.

    I respect people’s opinions and they can associate as they see fit but if we want to have a country where the prevailing creed is rugged individualism and competition we have to make it so the competition isn’t against the majority of entire races.

    So whether it’s schools or housing or healthcare those issues have to be addressed so people who want to work hard and be successful can actually be successful.

    The point is denying the divisions and blaming everyone in government as playing identity politics is only going to continue the racial tension in the country.

    This is the truth. Racism is an economic and societal model developed in the fifteen hundreds.

    To prove this go through the Bible and see how many times skin color is noted. Go through Shakespeare as well. Almost never is “race” depicted until slavery from Africa became an economic model in the Americas.

    Of course not but the super majority of racist and racism has been from the people and party of the confederate south.

    Slavery=confederate states
    Confederacy =confederate states
    KKK=confederate states
    Jim Crow=confederate states
    Segregation=confederate states
    Anti civil rights bill=confederate states
    Trumps base=confederate states

    If we want to end income disparity... the first thing to do is cease taxing the crap out of the 98%.

    Right now with the 100 to 200 taxes we all face the massive (real inflation) and the cost of health care and college.. its very hard for anyone who has to work for a living to get into the top .2%.

    For instance in the 80s... the top places in San Diego like La Jolla or outside of New York in say Greenwich were filled with doctors, lawyers and some business owners to some degree with the very top houses belonging to generational wealth or finance guys.

    Now the from what I can tell talking to Realtors who sell on the water or in La Jolla or Rancho Santa Fe its mostly finance and stock related.
    Few are able to work they way in ....
    You have to have assets which can accumulate wealth outside of taxes...

    Stock, Real estate, stock option grants .. etc if you are business
    or straight up running a fund.

    (I leave entertainers out of the analysis as I don't know much about them... but they do seem to collect real estate)

    Dude, we’re trying to address issues like 1 in 4 kids in the black community don’t have enough food to eat, not how stock traders are doing better than doctors.

    we have poor yet we have massive govt programs and subsidies.
    What is happening...systemically?

    its easy to see if you care to look...

    had we just ceased bringing in 40 million people until we got our underclass jobs...
    that community could be more upwardly mobile.

    Black communities once had thriving business sectors.
    They could have success again...

    Its govt programs which have screwed up.

    Benefit cliffs.
    Incentives not to work.

    40 million new immigrants to compete for jobs.

    Lets get everyone who wants a job... a job..
    and then open the borders.

    40 million... over what period of time? The US's population is presently on the verge of shrinking.
