    I just read that the trigger had recently been replaced. If I recall and I've not used many revolvers the spring is a leaf spring steel strip that's inside the handle. Old guns have no trigger block or transfer bar so once cocked a knock can fire them. This is the reason for the custom of a cowboy load where the cylinder under the hammer is empty.

    Just possibly the cocking was precarious?

    1] It sure is his responsibility;
    [2] + also ''treat every gun with respect due loaded gun''
    [3]Avoid all horseplay with a gun, never point a gun@ someone you dont want to shoot
    The firing a gun with out pulling the trigger sounds like a lawyers'' smokescreen''
    even if it was possible.
    Alex baldwin is still responsible for1,2,3; to bad Alex is an NRA hater \other wise he would know that.

    Actually, since the whole thing was filmed.. You can see here that he made at least two practice draws before the discharge. The whipping motion must have been sufficient.

    His finger was on the trigger but he does not appear to squeeze in what we can see. But he could have put too much pressure on it. Combined with a mechanism fault..

    WOW its worse than we thought. NMED fined him $136, 793, not because of a gun fault;
    ''knew firearms safety procedures were not being followed'' It sure was his responsibility.
    Does NM need more car control, most speedometers go to 100-120mp?? Thanks.

    Watching the bodycam footage from the cop a guy says that the unfired rounds were all "quarter load blanks". So that means one normal was mixed in that ALSO happened to be the one under the hammer.

    Blanks having crimped tops are hard to confuse with live unlike inert an movie dummy? I guess the guy was inexpertly calling dummies blanks is all because he mentioned the shaken test.

    Are there quarter load movie blanks with cosmetic tops to look like lead? I've been on a good few film shoots but never one using firearms.

    Who feeds and takes care of you? Fuck the intricacies of the gun, the mystery is how you survive in the real world.
