When I was much younger would do 200-300 scalps a day, average down, never use stops. Am too old to trade that way after 30 years. The same patterns work today, bit instead using 15 second charts, am using 5 minutes to generate far less signals. It more like keeping brain sharp where as rest of body slowly declining.
Most seem to concentrate on profits, whereas I always concentrated on losing percentages. If you not losing often, ramp up size.

PLENTY of female, some scalping, wildlife , patterns work.
The female airport worker said '' is that a musical instrument in that luggage??''
I told her VERY calmly, lady that is a shotgun case , but no shotgun in there today LOL:D:D
    Hi volume dove shoot in Argentina is like scalping, hi volume meat ;
but airport regs require declaration + passengers prove shotgun is unloaded.
Pronghorn antelopes are strange= like bison ,males + females have horns.
Bison + big deer are like autos+ markets . Larry Mint Hite said markets are like an auto, when you are on a motorcycle, ''never argue with the market you will lose + get run over ''LOL:D:D:caution::caution::caution::caution::caution::caution::caution:,:cool::cool::cool:

  3. Aloha schizo!
Would it be possible for you to elaborate on how you define overbought and oversold?

    Aloha! :)

I dunno how to answer that question. Not to sound facetious or like I'm evading your question, but this ain't something that can be spelled out for you. You have to find out for yourself. There is no shortcut.

It’s oversold when he capitulates on his longs.

If your spec-methodology involves OB/OS you are clearly doing this wrong.

    Hi Mark, Happy New Year!!

Many moons ago, I used "On Balance Volume" (OBV) which is a built-in on many platforms.
In a word, it is a momentum indicator based on, you got it, volume.

The critical thing to understand, is that the (output)values of OBV are irrelevant, but are needed for plotting the indicator.
With that in mind, depending on platform, it is likely a trivial matter to modify the scale to be zero-based.

Since you and I have a history, I can tell you that OBV can be helpful in association with
Hershey vernacular like DU, Acceleration/Deceleration, VE and FRV... many similarities to OB/OS.

Caveat: without zero-based scaling, IMO, out of the box OBV is not a tool for fast charts... YMMV

  8. It’s clear that they aren’t using a classical ob/os indicator. You’ve been around long enough to know who’s likely the real deal here on ET and who isn’t..

@schizo , wrt ob/os, I understand your response to such a large and open ended question. I’ll read up more on your posts.

    Mahalo for your time,
    Mark
