As for me, it is really important to be able to understand currencies and their peculiarities before starting to work with them.

 

currencies (major currencies and especially cross pairs) are one of the lousiest things to trade.
the day range is relatively tiny.

A decade ago, currencies were one of the best things to trade.

There are many other better things to trade.
