  1. Dolt, you posted in this thread before I did which proves nothing. Did I quote you and then respond to your post in this thread? No, I did not. On the other hand, you are quoting my posts on several threads and then slinging ad hominem. That is what is known as "stalking." Do you need a license to be so stupid?

    Get a clue, boyo...

Atticus - When you still practiced onocology did all patients get charged exactly the same amount, and did you take the exact same amount of money from everyone for the exact same service.

I mean for example lets say I had to come in for a transfussion, about $1600.

Medicade might pay you what?....$300 or so for that?
Maybe Blue Cross would pay $445.
The uninsured guy would get billed the full $1600(but probably never pay you a dime)
If the uninsured guy called and said I got $900, you;d take it probably right?

Tsk tsk tsk..you didnt aply the rules uniformly you evil bitch you.

  3. It was a direct-mail practice. I sent out thousands of mailers guaranteeing I could cure any cancer for $300 via Cranial-Sacral therapy and intravenous Viagra. I used a "forced-continuity" billing practice which guaranteed I would get paid if those fucks popped-off before treatment. After-all, it was guaranteed.

Oh come on, no one buys into cranial-sacral therapy..at least think of something good that a slick prick can actualy talk you (or at least me) into trying...something like Insulin Potentiation Therapy low does chemo (it sounded good!)...(which almost killed me).

You've always struck me as someone who has a high standard of ethics, I'm not challanging that at all atticus. My point with the above email was that this is Baron's business, and if he thinks that the moderating time that Chaos has put into the site is worth $X worth of advertising why shouldnt he be able to decide that? I don't see it as being too much different then doctors and hospitals taking different prices for the exact same treatment from different patients based upon insurance. Do you?

Also, direct mail is a bitch in the medical world. I've worked with a few Chiropractors and Cosmetic Surgeons....it can be very profitable..but its a very complicated dance. I cant remember the name of the regulation now, but one that is a major pain in the ass is one that prohibits them paying for each customer to an advertiser.

PS. If there are any dermatologist here I've got a campaign I've used with several other dermatologists that meets all ethical and regulatory standards and has produced increases to the bottom line of 26% in my worst case, and 74% in my best.

  5. Baron's ethical standard is measured in dollars, period. This is not a Democracy, and I think that's clear to those of us participating in this discussion.

Some of you may recall the Pabst blowup thread on Vic Niederhoffer. Baron didn't get it vetted, he simply deleted Pabst's thread. When it turned out to be true no apology was given. I am sure Pabst isn't crying himself to sleep, but that was douche behavior by our overlord.

yeah it was...but I was just asking a question about the CS Therapy...and also responding with stuff (scams) that sadly I tried.

But it's also something of when your desperate you'd do stupid things.

I mean for example tell me you should give me 10 times less of the medicine I need, and something toxic that I dont need at all. (ie Insulin Potentiation) and in a normal state of mind I'd probably report you. Desperate, I flob down several K and give it a go.
Who knows what people will buy. You could probably cook up anything, but i wouldnt.
You seem to have the idea that I will sell anything that would sell..and that's not true.

I want to try to make my point as clearly as I can.

First of all the majority of my clients are Chiropractors, Cosmetic Surgeons, Dermatologists, Fitness Centers and Financial Websites.

Other then trading I have no particular expert status in any of them, except that I've got proven campaigns that produce results for my client.

I have not, and will not sell a product that can not deliver what I tell the buyer it can and will deliver.

I've been in a position myself when those who where in a position of trust abused my desperate situation to take financial advantage of me, and it nearly cost me my life. I have no respect for anyone who would sell something and just shrug it off with "well buyer beware"..

I sell things that you may not be interested in, shit I sell stuff I would not be interested in..but everything I sell delivers upon the result it promises if it's applied.
