changing usernames

I chose my name when I heard someone say "Clam it Bill" in a movie. Now, I wanted to change it and the new account was denied. My name is not Bill and someone thought clam was my totem pole. Well, I'm not a Native American so I'm not a clam either. I also wanted the email I was going to use for the other account to be used.

 

i can just change your user name and you keep all your posts under the new name.
