Changing to the healthcare field and would like to keep my license. Is there any place I can park my license ?

I intend to still trade from my home.

  2. Why would you want to hold onto the license if you don't expect to go back to prop trading?

  3. Unless you intend to trade for clients or advise other people's money there really isn't a need to worry about it. The license is transitory, and keeping it is not necessary without the intention to offer advice.

Is there some reason you want to keep it?

I still work for a brokerage in NY. changing careers, but not totally sure what will happen in the next couple of years.

until this is more understood, I was trying to see if there is a way to hold onto the license.

Due to start classes towards my Masters (APN or CRNA) and I intend to continue trading my own funds while working FT at the hospital.

Let me know if any of this is not clear. Thanks !

It's 100% illegal to park your license.
