  1. Here's an interesting article for those interested in trade-through reform:

    Among the notable points:

    * The story quotes sources that suggest the trade-through rule will be repealed (unlikely) or amended by June.

    * According to the article, most NYSE traders "choose to wait an average 11 seconds to get an opportunity for (price improvement" versus routing via Direct+.
     
  2. Pretty soon we'll be trading listed stocks with a Level II window just like we trade the Naz. Me thinks that if you rely on the "specialist system" to make a living, it's time to change your stripes.
