Would you like to see the tick increment in the ES changed from 0.25 to 0.1?

  2. I agree. BTW, "monitoring" doesn't seem to be even remotely decisive in language, does it.

Sounds more like they were humoring him, rather than actually considering it.

  4. Is that ove as in "love". I certainly don't. A change like that would screw me up.

  6. they better not change the tick on ES...

at least there is some sort of spread right now. why the hell everyone wants to dampen volitility even further is beyond me..

  7. True...

Do people forget decimalization in equities few years back, and how it squeezed many lucrative strategies?

If they did change it, how do you think they would do it?

Do you think they would introduce a new symbol which is identical to the ES except for 0.1 point ticks and then phase out the ES? (i.e. run the two parallel for a while)

Or switch the ES over a weekend?

i think it would be more entertaining to do it intraday, maybe in a 3x- or 4x-witching session. and, other than the date, do it without releasing details of the exact time.

    :D
