(Enhancements are mine.) K, let me ask you this, in the context of your pondering about why RDK did poorly. You said the above, that the NQ was really good today. Or, "it was really good today for the NQ". How was the NQ yesterday?
I would like to end this convo here with you as it goes nowhere. also most of us who post here regularly are respectful to each other's and also we ask each other such questions. i did not say he did poor, all i did was ask what he traded today. Thanks Overnight!
Put Overnight on Ignore as many of us have...You can also do a full blocking and stop him from seeing your posts also..
And I was trying to convey to you that just because the NQ "was good today", maybe he traded it and did badly. What does it matter WHAT he traded? He lost money today. And you intimated that because NQ did "really well" today, you assumed that if he did try to trade NQ, why then did his trades go wrong, since he normally trades very well. Just because one market "does well" does not mean that the person you are following should have done well. I found that comment pretentious at the very least. Even the best traders out there have bad days, when every instrument in the world "does well." I understand the gist of your query. If he normally trades well, what happened today? But the fact that NQ did well today should not automatically mean that he should do well. That is all I am on about Sorry of you read too deeply into my question.
I am a 100% mechanical trader so my opinion really doesn't matter as an entry criteria. No system can win all the time so i am not too disappointed with resent results. Only disappointed with the timing, if i had gone live earlier the results would have been much better from start to date, but it is what it is. I had 2 trades, 1 on NQ and 1 on ES.
What is the comms charged when you trade 1 lot of futures? Are you crossing the spread or using limit orderS?
