  1. Too late, I am riding CFC. I'm taking her to 14.50+ and bailing soon.

Lots of nervous shorts will cover to lock in profits.

  5. I don't think he was taking a long position to make profits in the next 3-6-12+ months. It was an intraday trade long. I have taken a few $$$ on short term pops on the long side.
But you must be very nimble and cut any trade that goes against you fast.
Swing trading/position trading stay on the safe side the short side.
Good Luck people, there is a lot more money to be made in this sector.

  8. The volume of mortgages issued this year will fall to the lowest since 2000, the Mortgage Bankers Association forecast on Oct. 17. Foreclosures doubled in September from a year earlier as subprime borrowers struggled to make payments on adjustable- rate mortgages, RealtyTrac Inc. said Oct. 11.

``We have a ways to go in the housing recession,'' Douglas Duncan, the Mortgage Bankers Association's chief economist, said last week.

Today's report corroborates earlier figures this month from the Realtors' association that the housing slump is worsening.
