On "Fast Money" tonight a so-called expert asked the question: "Are Trichet and Bernanke in communication with each other privately?" The question was asked because a currency expert was supposing that the ECB will raise rates, but will likely be willing to start intervening to buy dollars to mitigate the damage.

I found that amazing, because although the media blacked it out, I thought that everyone with skin in "the game" was aware that Trichet, Bernanke and Paulson were all together for two days in Chantilly Virginia less than two weeks ago. I know that this group (the Bilderberg Group) did not "officially" exist in the past, but they put out a press release this year... it's no longer the world's worst kept secret that these people get together and plan policy.

Anyone else notice this gaff and think along these lines?
