I'm a Bitcoin hodler and will always be a Bitcoin hodler. You know this already, deaddog. I emphasized many times that Bitcoin is life savings

All other crypto assets are short to medium term investments, i.e. Bored Ape Yacht Club and other NFT's

I was somehow under the impression that you actually sold some of your bitcoin after we had discussed the pro's and con's of trading.

Come on, deaddog. You're better than that. I feel like you want to appear as an ***** and just so I have to explain to a child?

I don't have to explain how I run our finances and investments. It's none of anyone's business. I did not take any money from anyone so I have no duties whatsoever

But to answer your question, Bitcoin is life savings, but there are short term and medium term financial opportunities, i.e. CEL or any other crypto assets. You want to call it trading to make yourself feel better?

Go ahead, I don't know how to read a chart so I call them short term, medium term, and long term investments

    But Bitcoin is life savings

You can't compare someone like me who holds an amount of Bitcoin that will never be sold unless absolutely forced to by life circumstances to a no-coiner who has 0 BTC's and throw words like hodler or not-a--hodler as if they are absolute terms, no allowance for buying and selling BTC's

You have a point, deaddog? Or did you want to agree with me that screenshot that I'm an investor and not a trader?

I sold crypto holdings last year and this year is a different year and I'm managing the crypto portfolio accordingly, since it's a bear market, trimmed the crypto portfolio quite a bit

But information changes. Fed policy changes. Market structure changes. I'll make moves without putting in here

Do you report on your trades here, deaddog? Maybe you do I just don't follow other forums outside of Crypto Assets

    • There's a difference between selling 1 or a few Bitcoins and selling all Bitcoins
    • It is utterly impossible to sell the top, some people claim they can, good for them
    • It is childish to say "oh I thought you're a hodler and would never sell" what the fuck, are we in grade school?

    • If I knew Netflix top at $750, I would have taken all my life savings and bought puts or shorted with everything
    • If I knew the PayPal top was $350, I'd have done similar actions
    • If I knew $69K was the top for Bitcoin, I'd have sold all my Bitcoins and buying now and double my holdings. Since I can't know what the top price is, I manage the crypto portfolio according to risk management and money management. Every ET poster who pretends not to understand this is either lying or an imbecile

My point is what we started debating back in Dec. That trading could out perform buy and hold.
So I couldn't help myself when you started acting like a trader.

You have a liberal interpretation of a trader. I've always been an investor based on fundamentals. My choice of investment is crypto assets

Our whole exchange right now started with you applying hodler to CEL investments I made in 2020

Then you pivoted the convo to Bitcoin, a core holding in the crypto portfolio but like any savings account may be increased and decreased depending on market conditions and personal liquidity

Elite Trader. I guess I should be proud to be called a trader. Every crypto asset that I hold and have held were investments, but with different time frames

So that makes me a trader... I never knew

    Bitcoin is life savings, though
