Advice wanted: I might get my first real cell phone! I am learning about cell phones and data plans. A major concern of mine is ability to trade. I want the ability to trade stocks, options, and futures. Any pointers on what device to get?
Get an iPhone if you're new to smartphones. Android can have a bit of a learning curve (own both). I trade through IB on their iPhone app quite a bit and the newest release allows you to quote without logging in each time you close the app. You will still need to authenticate to trade on the mobile platform. You can work COB orders in options. IIRC Sprint is the cheapest overall plan. I am with AT&T.
Basically it's either iPhone or S3. Not sure there's anything else really worth looking at until the next release cycle starts in March or so.
