Celente has accurate past record: TOP 12 trends for 2012.

  1. This guy Gerald Celente predicted OWS before there was even a whiff of it. Along with Gold hitting almost 2000 and so on and so forth.

Here are predictions for 2012. Hold on to your hats :D

    1. Going Out in Style: In the bleak terrain of 2012 and beyond, "Affordable sophistication" will direct and inspire products, fashion, music, the fine arts and entertainment at all levels. US businesses would be wise to wake up and tap into the dormant desire for old time quality and the America that was.

    2. Economic Martial Law: Given the current economic and geopolitical conditions, the central banks and world governments already have plans in place to declare economic martial law with the possibility of military martial law to follow.

    3. Coming Battlefield America: With a stroke of the Presidential pen, language was removed from an earlier version of the National Defense Authorization Act, granting the President authority to act as judge, jury and executioner. Citizens, welcome to "Battlefield America."

    4. Invasion of the Occupy: 15 years ago, Gerald Celente predicted in his book Trends 2000 that prolonged protests would hit Wall Street in the early years of the new millennium and would spread nationwide. The "Occupy" is now upon us, and it is like nothing history has ever witnessed. Occupy will re-emerge stronger than ever in 2012.

    5. Climax Time: The financial house of cards is collapsing, and in 2012 many of the long-simmering socioeconomic and geopolitical trends that Celente has accurately forecast will come to a climax. Some will arrive with a big bang and others less dramatically but no less consequentially. Are you prepared?

    6. Technocrat Takeover: "Democracy is Dead; Long Live the Technocrat!" A pair of lightning-quick financial coup d'états in Greece and Italy have installed two unelected figures as head of state. No one yet in the mainstream media is calling this merger of state and corporate powers by its proper name: Fascism, nor are they calling these "technocrats" by their proper name: Bankers!

    7. Repatriate! Repatriate!: It took a small, but financially and politically powerful group to sell the world on globalization, and it will take a large, committed and coordinated citizens' movement to "un-sell" it. "Repatriate! Repatriate!" will pit the creative instincts of a multitude of individuals against the repressive monopoly of the multinationals.

    8. Safe Havens: As the signs of imminent economic and social collapse become more pronounced, legions of New Millennium survivalists are, or will be, thinking about looking for methods and ways to escape the resulting turmoil. Those "on-trend" have already taken measure to implement Gerald Celente's 3 G's: Gold, Guns and a Getaway plan. Where to go? What to do?

    9. Big Brother Internet: The coming year will be the beginning of the end of Internet Freedom: A battle between the governments and the people. Governments will propose legislation for a new "authentication technology," requiring Internet users to present the equivalent of a driver's license and/or bill of health to navigate cyberspace. For the general population it will represent yet another curtailing of freedom and level of governmental control.

  2. hmmm.. i can't wait for the results of this...

one of which will be Petrol prices of nearly 6.00

no doubt the Capitalist Pigs in the City will already be stockpiling crude and distilates at sea in tankers waiting for it all to kick off.

2012 is going to be a very interesting year.
-A New war in the middle east
-An Icelandic volcano kicks off again and shuts down western europes airspace.
-Euro2012 in Ukraine/Poland disrupted by ashcloud
-America will declare this the end of days and have another disputed election which will be rigged by Chinese supplied hacked voting machines. Civil rights wil be suspended, Riots will follow.
-The great DNS Firewall of America will go up, rest of world will go independent(eventually)

-The Euro continues to wobble till regulations shut down the gambling rings opperating in the City and other casino banking hotspots.

    -Shorting is outlawed.

  3. IMHO Market price levels have no relationship to real world anymore.
Federal Reserve can push DOW to 20 000, and economy could still be an inch from great depression.

  4. He has a terrible track record.

Besides, the idiot who has been screaming WWIII for 10 years now had all his money at MF Global...

    LOL

  5. zdreg

    zdreg

it sounds like zimbabwe. with all that crap paper currency running around it is not a particularly imaginative scenario.

  6. what the hell are you smoking, Celente never predicted a WW3 in his trends forecast newsletter

  7. Mass rioting, countries going bankrupt, the entire financial system going tits up but yeah he didnt predict a WW3.

He is a fear monger not worth listening to imo but if people rate him by all means listen to him what do I know.

  8. No one gets it right 100%, he is not a magic man, he is just a man.

Are you sure you don't hate the messenger because you hate the message. :)

  9. If you say in the future bad things will happen, banks will come under pressure, countries will find it hard to refinance, history tells us this could mean war, protectionism will rise ... I'm all ears.

If you say in 2012 there will be mass riots, they will shut down the internet, the US will attack Iran, Citibank will go bankrupt, Spain will collapse, the Euro will break up... You are a Quack.

Especially if 9 out of 10 of this years predictions will come back next year.

And if you point that out the defense will be he is just a man not a wizard. :p :p

    No kidding.

  10. ok lets step back a little for some perspective

Yes is sounds crazy, martial law in USA, I agree it sounds crazy.

But if you check his predictions for previous years or forecasts as he calls it, you'll find them to be right most of the time.

    For example

Entire world was surprised when Occupy Wall St showed up. But those who were reading Celente knew about it.

While the media were making fun of gold futures, Celente said it will reach 2000, it did.!

Celente got many other things right too. So he has some credibility where as you have none.

Ultimately I don't give a crap what you think of Celente, I won't bother to post anymore in this thread.
