If a president attempted to appoint me to the supreme court I would have to turn him or her down.

I much prefer be able to post here on elitetrader.

Your understanding of Canada is pathetic, suggesting your education is sadly lacking. While I have no doubt that there are millions of dumb ass Americans like you out there who think annexing Canada would be a good move, and that Canadians would welcome it, you'd think Iraq might have taught you a lesson about the capabilities of the US annexing countries where they aren't wanted. All you did was add to your tax bills, put some of your young people in a dangerous environment where they got killed ( or badly injured ), killed a lot of foreign citizens, and created some radical enemies that hate you so much they are willing to commit suicide to take out some Americans.

You may think that Canadians don't compete well with Americans, but you would be very wrong. This is one reason why Canadians are heavily recruited by international firms. It is also why we kick American ass in our favorite sports on a regular basis. Go ahead, tell us your a better country because you have more people, lol, like that's a big positive ? You don't take care of your people these days, and half the time you seem to want to disown Americans that are a certain skin colour, ethnic background, or if they are a recent immigrant. Your country is at war with itself these day, even this Republican/Democratic rift seems to have endless life. How are you going to conquer Canada when you can't even conquer Detroit or Chicago ?

I agree that it may be more difficult in the US, but it's not because of population size or diversity.

  3. Heh, two of my grandparents were Canadian and I spent formative times of my life there and I am still there often.

Meanwhile you or your parents came from your job washing cars in your village in the UK in recent history during one of the little periods when Canada allowed anyone who could log on to a computer or push the button on a ballpoint pen to be considered as "skilled labor." Not to worry though, even though you are not a for-real Canadian you are an expert now on all things Canadian and American. You are actually quite a bit nastier and more uppity than Canadians are so your problem is that you are not Canadian yet. The people in the Maritimes are quiet, gentle and polite almost to the extreme. The Quebecois are quite a bit more verbal and raucous but very outgoing and friendly, and all the people on the plains and in BC in all the little towns are very nice and down to eath. You must be some kind of southern Ontario type or else it is your left over persona that you brought with you. Which one?

So I am not quite ready to take lessons from you on how to be a Canadian or an American but we both know that wont stop you. It's what you do.

  5. I was captured by a Montreal woman earlier in life and held hostage for quite a few years. I may fight with the Canadians but I know when to surrender too.
