The Ebol Czar, or as Rev. Al would call him, the Ebola Seezar, is busy taking lessons from Susan Rice on how to tell lies so blatant that even Baghdad Bob would say WTF, isn't anyone going to buy that shit.
CNN just now interviewing Dr. Joyce Elders, Surgeon General, 1994/94. More than anything they discussed the politics of it all, specifically quarantining. Where is the Ebola Seeczar? Isn't this exactly what Dear Leader appointed him to do? Looks like Team Obama stepped in it again.
Uproar in Italy over quarantined US troops http://www.iol.co.za/news/world/uproar-in-italy-over-quarantined-us-troops-1.1772464#.VFGAIxa8ETI The decision to put a dozen American soldiers returning from Liberia into quarantine for Ebola at their base near Venice rather than in the United States sparked controversy in Italy on Wednesday. “They shouldn't have been sent here, they should do their quarantine for Ebola at home,” said the president of the region's assembly, Luca Zaia, insisting “it would have been more respectful” of the United States to have “thought about the risks posed to local citizens”. Africans worst responders in Ebola crisis http://www.wral.com/africans-worst-responders-in-ebola-crisis/14134064/ The head of Africa's continental body did not get to an Ebola-hit country until last week — months after alarm bells first rang and nearly 5,000 deaths later. Pledges to deploy 2,000 African health workers have remained largely that — promises. No African countries are on the United Nations list of contributors to fight the epidemic. The E-word did not even figure on the agenda of a session on peace and security at the Pan-African Parliament in South Africa last week — more than a month after the U.N. Security Council declared the Ebola outbreak a "threat to international peace and security." (More at above url)
Well, they have a point. Obama thought it was a great idea to put troops at needless risk, but he doesn't want them to come back to the US? At the same time, he apparently thinks there is zero risk from civilians who have been there, even if they were directly treating ebola patients, a known source of infection. None of it makes any sense at all.
Correct me if I am wrong... but is Obama more like to do the wrong thing than the correct thing at every opportunity when it comes to international relations. I can hardly think of any correct choices. Fast and Furious to sending Ebola risk troops to Italy and keeping our border open. Screwing Isreal, supporting the Muslim brotherhood pulling the troops out earlier... drawing lines in the sand... Are democrats really looking out for the country?
Even Canada has taken the correct steps... Canada bans all people from West African nations with Ebola http://news.nationalpost.com/2014/1...residents-of-countries-with-widespread-ebola/ What is wrong with the U.S.??? Is our government full of idiots?
