I agree "No, they shouldn't be doing that" but it is a Democratic tradition. The good news is that Voter ID stops dead people from voting. Glad you see the light.
No it's not. So small a problem as to be non-existant. Not a problem. Voter suppresion via id laws has had far greater effect and is in fact a real problem.
Yet we hear about case after case of voter fraud... and most other first world nations require picture ids at the polling station.

Voter fraud ?? **laughs** There's no such thing!! One week later, Obama federalizes the election fearing Russian tampering.
Washington Post - Voter ID proponents point to laws in other countries Lengthy list of nations require picture id to vote https://www.washingtonpost.com/blog...her-countries/2012/07/12/gJQAVlGCfW_blog.html Washington Post - Poll workers in Ireland can ask voters for proof of identity, but voters have a choice of “five different forms of photo ID, in addition to bank books, credit cards, checkbooks and marriage certificates.” “In Switzerland, every registered voter is sent a registration card prior to an election, and if the voter brings her registration card to the polling place, no additional identification is needed.” “Canada permits any voter who lacks one of the allowed forms of photo identification to present two of forty-five other forms of identification or documentation that have the voter’s name and address on at least one. Acceptable documents include leases, student transcripts, and utility bills.” Sweden’s policy is a bit more vague, requiring that a “voter who is not known to the voting clerks [produce] an identity document or in another way verify her or his identity.” “India allows the use of fifteen different types of identification, ranging from property documents to arms licenses to income tax identity cards. Included, too, are forms of identification most likely to be possessed by the poor.... For instance, voters can present ration cards issued to the poor to allow them to buy food staples and kerosene oil at subsidized prices.” “Countries such as Spain, Greece, France, Malta, Belgium, and Italy provide national identity documents to their citizens to use for many purposes, including travel, banking, and healthcare access as well as voting.” "Mexico has the "Credencial para Votar" (Voter ID), it's issued by an autonomous organization called INE (National Election Institute) and it's impossible to vote without it." The idea any random person can show up to vote using the honour system is a joke These counties and states are run by moronic oldies who think they're living in 1930. Or they're democrats who encourage voter fraud.
How in the hell do you know that? You don't fucking know that. Oh, let me guess. You are regurgitating what you hear on MSNBS again like a parrot. You are such a good little sheeple. We have already seen a video in which a libtard admitted to voter fraud. You idiot. HIDDEN CAMERA: NYC Democratic Election Commissioner “I Think There Is A lot of Voter Fraud”
I disagree with the above from the context that requiring a picture Voter ID is a form of suppression. As I clearly outlined in the earlier post many countries require a picture voter id. The U.S. should follow this direction at a national level. The problem with voter id laws in the U.S. (including in North Carolina) is that they went well beyond simply requiring a picture id and threw in every possible targeted suppression measure. Reducing early voting, moving precincts out of Democratic areas, not allowing 17 year olds to pre-register, eliminating motor voter, etc. etc. This is why many of these "voter id" laws were overturning in court. However I will note that the court decisions stated that they did not provide any judgement on the validity of requiring picture id to vote but overturned the law due to all the other suppression measures that were included in the law.
