if you can predict the gas price, you can trade it.

    PRICING QUOTATION:
CFE Gas At The Pump Futures are quoted in terms of cents per gallon. A retail gas price of $2.98 per gallon would equate to a price quotation of 298.00 cents per gallon.

    PRICING CONVENTIONS:
The futures prices are stated in decimal format.

    MINIMUM PRICE INTERVALS:
    0.05 cents per gallon.

    DOLLAR VALUE PER TICK:
    $5.00 per contract.

  2. No liquidity.

  3. Volume = zero? Open interest = zero? Hasn't anyone done any "pity trades" or wash-trades yet?? Didn't they pass out a lot of trinkets and souvenirs at the opening bell ringing ceremony?

  4. Anyone who has significant gasoline exposure/wants to speculate on gasoline trades NYMEX or OTC. Furthermore, there's no reason any decent trader would want to punt these products.
