I have bought the best of the best stocks back during the last bubbles and it was usually then the bubble burst..... It's funny how no one wanted Facebook a year ago at 99 bucks but today at 375 they are jumping in buying as much as they possibly can hoping it can rally another 200%
Because they know the meaning of velocity. Prices tend to go up at a faster clip when it's trading at 375 than at 99.
Of course but absolutely no one and I mean no one ever talks about law of large numbers! Facebook has around 2.5 billion outstanding shares. If people are hoping for this stock to run a other 100% in 2024 you are looking at an additional market cap of $ 1 trillion dollars. Where in earnings can Facebook actually be at with an additional $1 trillion worth of market cap added in a single year???
For a decade and a half, I keep hearing this tulip mania thing by bears. So you missed out for almost a whole generation now on the best-performing asset... when are you finally going to be victorious? In the end we are all dead, who cares if it gets replaced in the year 2401?
I could never wrap my head around the tulip comparison to bitcoin, as bitcoin is not a plant and it's not even a physical, it's just a bunch of numbers (large number) The comparison to gold is because of scarce asset ,and for sure, bitcoin is going to flip gold in market cap, that's easy, it's just no one knows when it will happen. it will be within 10 years, 99% probability
