Spx is cboe not cme. I actually clerked there. Only options. No futures. Select options pits still have some people.

 

Referring to the SPX options pit at the CBOE. Lots of volume here. Article originally quoted was about CBOE shutting pits.

 

You originally stated S&P pit. Very different than SPX.
