And thats the whole reason it probably wouldnt have happened to your daughter, I always knew that if i disrespected an adult, particularly a cop, and i came home, there was an ass whipping coming when i got home. Somehow i managed to avoid getting beaten up by cops my whole life, gee i wonder why.

He did not unholster his weapon because of the girl. Did you not watch the video? He unholstered his weapon when the male in the video was about to punch him in the face. It had absolutely nothing to do with the girl.

  3. Read my post that you quoted again. And then my subsequent post.

  4. Here's what I see on that video and after reading what is being reported after the fact. So the question remains. How many times do police have to tell somebody to get on the ground? She was non-compliant. I don't care if she's 15 or 40, black or white, she did not comply. This is just a fact.
While he was trying to detain her and keep an eye on the others, two young men rushed in within a couple feet of his weapon. How was he suppose to know their next move? He drew his gun to prevent any intentions they may have had. Couple other cops moved in and he holstered his weapon shortly thereafter. It was an extremely volatile situation and could have easily went south in a hurry.
Bottom line as I keep saying. If you're going to physically resist, run your mouth, charge at the cop or have others charging at the cop, just WTF do you expect the police to do? They're being put in an impossible situation.

  5. By his ongoing and continuing actions, he was more preoccupied with a girl on the ground who was not getting up than he was with the supposed threats surrounding him. Otherwise, he would have better physically prepared himself with appropriate posture other than remaining on the ground with a girl who was not making an attempt to get up.

You guys are all action heroes, aren't you?

And I ask again: what about that commando evasive roll for absolutely no reason? WTF was that? These guys watch way too much TV.

It looks like he tripped on a tree root.

  7. It seemed a bit too smooth of a move to have been the result of tripping (by a member of what appears to be an undertrained and overreacting team). Now if it was dog shit he slipped on, that might explain the fluidity of movement.:)

lets face it. The cop was out of control running around like an idiot. Why weren't the other cops doing cartwheels and screaming like he was? c'mon dude seriously. I know I know these teens could have strangled him with their towels. Yes I know that these kids have no respect for authority but then again this cop didn't demand respect freaken out like a girl that saw a cockroach...

He had a very bad day, apparently, It happens, and I'm more sympathetic now that I know more. I've had similar experiences (though we did not carry firearms inside the prison), and on my best bad days I'd think ahead and let my team members know I was not up to snuff.
Someone would invariably take the lead. Everyone understood this kind of thing, it happens to everyone. Night shift alone beats people up pretty good.

  10. I would hope we could all agree the cops were dropped into a very bad situation, and maybe the one guy could have handled himself a little better. He said as much.

What I say is we are in a world of hurt if you're not safe from black mobs even in a gated community in a rich white suburb. That is the undercurrent of this whole debate on this cop. The progressives and the racial grievance industry want us defenseless. They want the cops to be afraid to step in when they foment riots. Like Obama, they resent private property and don't think it is legitimate for the law to protect it.
