Bitcoin vs Gold right no comparison since 2015. One up 100 times over, the other 2 times. Bet crafty Carl Icahn, who went to same Queens HS as myself, never had a 100-bagger.
"100 bagger" with what? 50 shares of common? I just googled "Carl Icahn + net worth". It says $18.1Billion. He's one of the richest men in the world. Posters here advertising disrespect for that number need to tone it down. If you don't know, keep your mouth shut.
%% I REMEMBER that name\ IBD put a fund of thiers in IBD mutual fund index with Fidelity Contrafund.............. But i remember them doing better than average a much of the time But QQQ lost more than 80%/peak to valley. I checked out Janus Forty Fund, for educational purposes/ better than SPY 10 year s + inception..............................................................................I think thier old Janus 20 was winner mostly, but more of a roller coaster. UK fund bought them
LOL he wasn't advertising disrespect for that at all!! hahaha.People get so worked up and imagine things. He made a comment about gold vs BTC and made a flippant remark about Icahn perhaps not having the luxury of a BTC in his come up.
Not a fair comparison. BTC is being pumped by fake money aka Tethers (they just broke 80 bill of printing), gold is traded in real money.
Do you know what a two-bagger etc is yes. Obviously not. Google that. I said nothing of his net worth.
"Real" money. So if someone bought at $280 (in 2015) and sold at (approx current price) $28000 they didn't make real money?
of course they did. The music is still playing. If tether fraud busted, would be interesting to see how low the price will drop. Until then, to the moon…..
When it comes to comparing one 'stock' against another, it's easy to manipulate depending on date. Anyhow, just for fun, I'm using the date from the bottom of SPX ~ mid Oct last year. Approximates From top to bottom.... Bitcoin blue, +50٪ Gold orange, +20% SPX black, +12% ARKK Indigo, +7% (QQQ, +18%)
%% LOL that sounds right Forbes estimates $17 billion/Bloomberg $24 Billion Like Bill Gates[msft] he dropped out of college\ pays to quit sometimes Have to respect Carl Ichan when announced a public position in stocks he was buying or board of directors entry/usually a good uptrend did continue.................................................................................................................... And cut a loss wisely on CHK, somewhat past the penny stock level of $5[which some current charts dont even show CHK below $5]
