FT, I don't have to defend the Bible, it defends itself daily when those seeking God open it's pages..... there's nothing you can say, profane, twist and rant about here on these threads that matters outside of your own self delusion.. and there's absolutely nothing you can do to stop it, and your own self denial can't negate the literally millions of people who know just the opposite, that God is real and have a personal relationship with him.

You're fond of quoting Nietzsche, but you're no Nietzsche, he's dead, went crazy and died, been dead for over a hundred years and the Bible is still around, still the most printed and distributed book ever.

I just don't have time to waist on these arguments....

  3. waste....and there is no way you can claim a typo.

It would do you well to actually try to read the bible from cover to cover.

  6. and just how can a perfect being have his will defied? Especially by his own creation, which, by definition, would have to be perfect?

Don't forget to mention you grew up in Atlanta, also in N Georgia.
And that your parents still live there, in government housing.

    Let me be clear.

If you state there is no God... that is a belief and that is the belief of atheism.

If you have no beliefs on the subject you are an agnostic.

  10. just trying to help people like you think about what you believe and why you believe it. have you ever tried to think through the difficult questions? does it even matter to you what the truth is? is intellectual honesty important to you at all?

Atheism is not a conscious act of turning away from all gods. It is simply the final destination for those who think. You will be pleased to discover that the sky does not fall down on your head. If you still want to pray, you can; the success rate of your prayers is unlikely to change. (Guy P. Harrison)
