Just an observation here and my two cents to the 'sexist' hypocrisy here.. and yes I call it hypocritical for one reason. I have been reading over and over again in articles and books on how much smarter females are in investing, and for some reason, NO ONE finds this sexist in any way, or whines. Turn it around in the slightest, and out comes the self-hating WHITE KNIGHTS who will scream sexism. Come on, if you really believed what you preach then you'd be pissed at Motley Fool books touting the "Warren Buffett Invests Like a Woman (and you should too)" type books. But do you here that?... Crickets... In the end, you're a hypocrite and regardless, you're not going to get laid by Cathy on this forum. Sorry, ain't going to happen. That said, I just heard the news that someone insulted the CEO of Theranos in another discussion thread on this forum. To arms White Knights! Her honor must be defended!
Norbert apparently put me on block because he was to chickenshit to defend his assertion about women with facts and data. that’s an example of a real masculine man.
You guys made such a big thing of female vs male. Media sure likes to present some females. Because females are under-represented for various reasons. As for Ms. Wood, I do not admire her. The way she talks, the way she hypes her stocks and the way she wants to buy more losers. There are quite some female money managers. But Ms. Wood stole the spotlight. I do not think she will have a happy ending.
Wow shw predicted tesla to be 6800 a share and bitcoin at 500k on November 2020 She also claimed guranteed returns of 25-30% no way in hell would I trust anyone with my money if they do that kind of crazy talk.
Her ARK funds are just the 21st century Manhattan Fund. Anyone can be a genius in a superbull market. A rising market lifts all ships.
Some of her Bitcoin comments sound a little irrational but she's in tune with what the millennials are thinking. Anyone can see the funds are high risk when many of them had 10% Tesla. They serve a purpose there is no unhappy ending if you make a lot of money. She made a lot of money. I doubt she'd attract so much negative attention if she were male. Seems to be a thing in trading circles kind of a young man's world at times lots of bravado and overconfidence at all times.
