You are clueless. She provides a way to participate in certain aspects of the market in simple etfs. When you choose to own any of them is up to you. She's not in "trouble" at all she's a fund manager. She bought companies at high and low valuations. I can only imagine if you bought other cyclical sector etfs you'd be saying all sorts of shit about precious metal fund managers etc etc. So much stupidity in your posts.
Depends on their entry and exit points. Given that it's cyclical high risk areas people shouldn't "invest" in her etfs they should swing trade them. I've never owned them but obviously they did really well for several years.
That is true. Her funds' universe is hot tech stocks. And that universe has tanked to the extent that if you were invested in the sector this year, you're almost certainly underwater YTD. That said, she maybe was not as brilliant when that universe soared as she was ascribed. It's the job of an ETF investor to be in the right ETFs for the given market regime. But I imagine that some younger passive B&H investor types went heavily into Ark believing how special Cathie was and rode it all the way down.
