You aren't going to believe this:

The feds spent $3,000,000,000.00 to save 1,350 jobs plus provide OT for 10,000 workers. Let's go crazy nuts and say that OT is equal to another 1,350 jobs. So that's 2,700 new jobs for 3 billion dollars. That's over 1,111,111.11 per job! Over a million dollars! For each stinkin' job!

A huge success by the liberal standards. Apparently they think if we just borrow enough money and raise taxes high enough - our economy will be fixed!

    Geez. That's embarrassingly stupid.

Even if Ford is also selling 60k more cars, that's 25 grand per car! The feds could have spent the 3 billion buying cars then sold lottery tickets to win them and we'd be a lot better off.

  2. You're not very bright, are you?

  3. What’s the lesson here? Stimulating the demand side has an immediate impact on a sluggish economy. Now, can we finally put to rest the discredited idea that the best way to grow the economy is by cutting taxes on the wealthy and praying that the benefits will some day trickle down to the rest of us?

that's friggin funny, ... so the way to "grow" the economy is to cover the profit margins of private companies ... (hmmm, private???) with target payer funded subsidies. So, redirecting my tax payments to Obama's thug union voting block and buying people new cars on the cheap is to my benefit?

we need to get these people OUT of office. A few more years with this group and tax freedom day won't come until January, of the following year.

Yeah, one way to improve the long-term outlook of car manufacturers is to provide them free money, this should provide incentives to reduce costs and kick their union anchors to the curb.
