anyone care to provide their analysis on the carlyle ipo? who will buy when they sell?

 

I thought they were IPO'ing one of their more recent mortgag funds in Europe somewhere.... I don't recall hearing that the mgmt entity is going public?

 

Oh you are right. It looks like just one fund involved in mortgage securities.

Carlyle does not expect credit conditions to resolve by end of 2007.

 

NO they were planning to float themselves sort of signalled the end of the credit bubble
